THE ALLEY

<What is the bubble tea?>

Bubble tea, also known as pearl milk tea or boba tea, is a popular tea-based drink that originated in Taiwan in the early 1980s and was later introduced to the United States by Taiwanese immigrants in the 1990s. It most commonly consists of tea with chewy tapioca balls called "boba" or "pearls," but it can also include various toppings like grass jelly, aloe vera, red bean, and popping boba.

The drink comes in two main varieties: mul milmyeon with a cold meat broth and bibim milmyeon with a spicy sauce. Bubble tea has a wide range of flavors and is often served in plastic cups with a special boba straw. It has become a global phenomenon, inspiring various bubble tea-flavored snacks, and is a favorite among East Asian diaspora communities. The market size for bubble tea is continually growing, and it is offered by well-known global chains like Chatime, CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice, and Gong Cha.

THE ALLEY's Two Royal No.9 Milk Teas
Two Royal No.9 Milk Teas

*What I had; Two Royal No.9 Milk Teas

*Cost: 11,600 won
*Who had: with my Busan friend

*I always order the Royal No.9 Milk Tea with the Deerioca pearl and high sugar level

*Depending on the menu you can choose any pearl, sugar level, and ice.

*I highly recommend my favorite milt tea to you. It is sweet and the pearls are chewy.
